Since Hunter was the first to come home, I went to multiple welcome home ceremonies with my girlfriends for moral support and of course to take photos for my girlfriends. I snapped some photos of other families we know as well! So get your tissues out....
This is my sweet friend Tammy and her husband Cheney. They have twin 7 year old boys and a 13 year old daughter!
Below is the Wiblishouser family. Sara had a baby - Kason during this deployment as well. He is a month younger than Sawyer.
Here is Nati and John Magri...they were hard to capture, b/c Nati would not let go...Can you blame her? :)
This is the Rossol Family. Brayden is 3 years old and literally would not smile until he was in his dad's arms.
This is our awesome friend Cary Fitzpatrick, his wife Orienna and his sweet mom. When Cary saw me he picked me up and spun me around--such a fun guy!!
Last but not least....Kelli & Kendall! This ceremony was also the latest, 11:30 p.m. I think the lateness made the anticipation the worst.
Also neat about this one, was JH came with me. He finally got to be on the other side...He was hilarious yelling Kendall and Gabe's (picture below) name like a 5 year old. You can't be at one of these ceremonies and not get emotional!
And now all I have to say is....AMEN!
Oooh Aaah! Thank You Kayla! Thank You for always sharing these incredibly joyful moments! And thank you for being a loving wife, consummate mom and great daughter! Thank You Hunter! Thank You for being a committed husband, fantastic dad, kick-ass son-in-law and exemplary soldier! And, thanks to all of your peers and fellow servicemen and women and their families who serve at home and abroad. God Bless You All!
ReplyDeleteWonderful moments and I am so glad you were there to capture them. Thank you to all of our soldiers and their families!
