This weekend, Hunter and I went away for our first weekend trip without Sawyer. We went to the U2 concert in Nashville and had a great time.
GiGi and Granddaddy stayed with Sawyer and they also really enjoyed themselves.
GrandHelgy came to visit too.
On Monday, we had a 4th of July party. It was so nice to have all the boys back in town. Sawyer's little girlfriend Scarlett (6 months) came over too.
Sawyer hung out with Uncle John...
tried corn on the cob, and Loved it!
He ate all the foods from the bbq: chicken, baked beans, watermelon and corn.
On a side note, Sawyer is eating so many finger foods thanks to GiGi...black beans, avocados, noodles, grapes, watermelon, peas, bread, chicken, cheese and turkey. He is a much better eater now that he is control.
At the BBQ, we played ladderball, pool and darts.
The girls just chatted...
This weekend, Sawyer also learned to wave...this isn't a great pic, but it is adorable when he does it.
Sawyer is still not sure about the way grass feels on his feet and legs, but has no problem puting it in his mouth!
