IT IS JUNE!!! A year ago this time, we were trying to enjoy Hunter's last few stress-free days at home before deploying. As most of you can imagine, about the week prior to deployment, there is no such thing as a stress-free day. We both worried about the un-known (Afghanistan as opposed to Iraq); tried to prepare for things that I would need a man for (like everything!!); and anticipated his year away! For example, Hunter installed AC units for the house, painted Sawyer's nursery, hung curtain rods, planted Summer flowers, and recorded himself reading a book for Sawyer. One thing I remember was running to the bathroom every hour to cry without him seeing me...Yes, I was 6 plus months pregnant, but I can't blame that all on the hormones.
However, this June is F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S, because it is the month that he comes home! It is the month that Sawyer gets to fall in love with his dad, and the month that we FINALLY get to be the family of 3 that I have been dreaming of! I just thought I would share with yall how happy I am that it is June 1, 2011!
