Red, White & Blue

This weekend Sawyer supported his Dad and all the other soldiers by wearing red, white and blue all weekend. Aunt Carrie, GiGi and Grandhelgy came to visit, which was great to keep Mom and Sawyer busy while the time SLOWLY passes. I am also proud to announce that Sawyer's second tooth came in over night.  For those of you that know how difficult teething is for both baby and mommy, you can relate to my excitement!

 This was before we headed to the pool...There are no pool pics b/c the wind gusts of 40 mph brought us in very quickly.

 We went to a BBQ at one of our friend's house where Sawyer got to sport his cap b/c it was so bright.

 Kate's rug went great with our themed weekend!

I cannot even tell you how much these next pictures make me laugh,  but it is so hard to capture the actual moment. Sawyer refused to let his right foot touch the grass.  So, he did anything he could to avoid it. It was so funny!

This weekend, Sawyer's attempt to crawl progressed to rocking back and forth on his knees, and sometimes lunging forward. He can't quite grasp moving his hands and knees at the same time.
