8 Months Old

My little man is 8 months old today! He is so full of energy, and he amazes me everyday. He does so many new things...This month he has really grown physically and mentally.
- He weighs over 17 lbs;
- He wears 12 month clothes;
- He sits up on his own for long periods;
- He eats finger foods--mainly puffs and risk rusks;
- He babbles..."dada" and "nana," and he LOVES the sound of his voice;
- He reaches for me when he wants me to pick him;
- He tries to give hugs and kisses;
- He got his first very sharp tooth;
- He sleeps longer periods...only wakes once to eat at night;
- He takes at least 2 naps a day;
- He eats 3 solid meals a day, plus eats breastmilk at least 5 times a day;
- He tries so hard to crawl, does a backward scoot & push up position;
- He loves to be outside--makes him content;
- He enjoys being read to and any toy with music;
- He loves his mommy and misses his daddy so much! 

This first picture really shows his length. I don't know exactly how long he is, but he has long legs!

 Still has his fat wrists.....

 He isn't necessarily chunky, but he is getting some bulk to his little body! And he is so strong. If you don't have a good grasp on him, he will climb out of your arms.
