He's 3

This is a late post, but my little tiny baby boy turned 3 on Monday!

At three....
- Sawyer has a full vocabulary and if he doesn't know a word, he asks what it means.
- Knows the words to many songs.
- Makes jokes all the time and uses made up words.  He is just like his dad, in that he will make a joke and then laugh at himself.
- Is very bossy. Tells us to "be nice to him ALL day!" Tells us "to be quiet; stop talking; listen to him; sit with him; play with him; etc. Sometimes he nicely adds please and grabs your finger to bring you where he wants you!
- Is very opinionated...Tells he what he likes and doesn't like.
- Is starting to recognize his written name, or at least the letter "S."
- Knows his colors, shapes, ABCs, and can count to somewhere in the teens.
- Knows he is going to be a big brother, and adores babies...So, he will be great at it.
- Likes to play rough. He and Daddy wrestle all the time.
- Likes to be around people constantly.
- Is very emotionally in touch. If I say ouch, he says, "What's wrong Mommy?"
- Sleeps really well in his big boy bed, except when he has night terrors. When he does, I just run in and pat his back.
- Is potty trained, and has been since he was 2 1/2.
- Loves to dance, sing, play, read books, do puzzles, play games, build legos (castles and crocodiles), ride his bike, ride his scooter, and jump on his bounce house.

At three, Sawyer weighs 30 pounds (32%) and 37 inches tall (39%).  At two, he weighed 26 1/2 lb (32%) and was 35 inches tall (69%).  So, he leveled out on height. We were always shocked that he was above 50% in height anyway.  He wears 4T tops and 3T bottoms, only for the length...b/c his skinny waist could still fit in 24 month or 2T.
Our family of 3 at Sawyer's 1st birthday!
2nd Birthday!
 3rd Birthday!
Lindsay took the best pictures of us before the party! I LOVE them!!!

I love my little family, and we are all excited to welcome baby brother in less than 2 months!
