Catch of the Weekend

This weekend we made a quick trip to San Antonio and the Hill Country.  JH's alma mater finally has a football program up and running, so we went to catch a game in the Alamo Dome. UTSA was playing my alma mater, but not the team I route for on a regular basis.  Since, I am a bear at heart, I was nice enough to wear navy.

 While we were at the game, Sawyer went fishing for his first time.

 He may or may not have also gotten his first hook stuck in his hand. 

 But, he was SUCH a big boy and just told me that "the fish got him!"

A hand injury isn't going to slow this sticker-tatted kid down...Next stop the pumpkin patch! 

 Then back to Mimi and Papa Jim's to see the scarecrow.

We got to sneak in a visit with Mamaw before we left town. Isn't she so pretty? I wish I could delete myself form this photo, as I am pretty sure Lynn needed a wide lens to take it! aaahh! Oh well, just focus on my handsome boys and Mamaw's pretty smile!

Thanks Mimi and Papa Jim for watching wild man, taking him fishing and entertaining him, even if part of entertaining him includes a visit to the local urgent care! :)
