Tyler 16 months

This little tot is 16 months. My how time flies and how quickly these babies become full on toddlers. It is so funny to hear Sawyer name all the things Tyler can't do yet b/c he is too little, or his legs are too short, or he still wears a diaper, or he can't talk, etc... My favorite thing is all the things Sawyer tries to teach him; e.g. not to throw his food, how to jump, and dance. Sawyer is very protective and he does not like it when I tell his brother "no", and says, "Mommy, Tyler can do whatever he wants, b/c he's just a baby!" :) As you can see, Tyler's obsession with balls has not waned. Sawyer often collects them around the house and if he's ever upset a ball will cheer him up.
Tyler, just like his brother, enjoys attention. If JH does not stop what he is doing the second he walks in the door, you will hear Tyler yelling, "Dadda" and chasing him around the house. He just needs a quick hug and then wants to continue playing.
Tyler got a sweet visit from our favorite pseudo aunt Kristal. He knows no stranger and will give hugs to anyone, but then will immediately jump back to me!
He especially LOVES his brother's hugs and tickles. I am often in the other room and hear little giggles from Tyler when Sawyer is near!
Tyler is CHUNKY.  look at his poor calves. They barely fit in these boots. He definitely has some weight to him and is just dense.
He wears 2T and some 24 month clothes and is about to jump to size 6 diapers.
THIS FACE...this scrunchy nose face gets me every time. My mom swears I made it at his age and Hunter says I still make it! :)
Tyler's eating etiquette lacks...seriously. Note the spaghetti sauce on the wall behind him.
He thoroughly enjoys sharing his food, but I don't advise partaking!.
How does the cream cheese in his hair not phase him?!?
Don't get me started on his thin wispy hair with a cowlick that cannot be tamed. Don't even think about adding product that gives the cowlick life!
and that belly... oh that belly!

He Loves loves to be outside. He has so much balance and is very coordinated. I remember Sawyer at an older age maneuvering these awkward stones. He constantly had a busted lip or face. But, not Tyler. He explores with ease. Here he is helping me with our drains.
or hats...whatever it might be!
Tyler has several words, but has learned some sign language at school. His favorite two signs are of course "food" and "more."
Here is his sign for "more"
Tyler is also very coordinated. This has also surprised me a bit. He can put the duplo legos together, and loves them.

One thing about Tyler, that is even more so than Sawyer, is his activeness. He does NOT sit down. he does not watch tv. He does not want to read books. he wants to explore, rearrange my house, throw balls, etc. This moment below lasted 30 seconds and it was only b/c he had a bowl of apples. I am amazed God gave me two very active boys. I thought for sure one would be more still.
A couple comparisons...maybe the same nose?!?
