This weekend, Sawyer's friend from Colorado came to stay for the weekend. Martina had a wedding to go to and Andrew is deployed, so Scarlett crashed with us most of the weekend. We called it my practice run at being a mom of two. The kids had a blast....They danced!

Scarlett misses her dad, so was super snuggly to JH. JH loved it since wild-man won't snuggle these days.
Sawyer and Scarlett were so happy to be reunited!
Of course, Sawyer refused to nap on Sunday, when I SO needed a rest. So, what does every sane exhausted mother do? Take their restless child to the pool and for ice cream.
Sawyer has never had an ice cream cone before, so he wasn't sure what to do with the cone part. Once I told him he could eat that part, he was thrilled!

Let's just say it might be best that my second child comes out an infant and not another 2 year old, b/c at least infants nap-right? Sawyer was also wore out from all the fun! This was at 5:30 p.m., so I am sure I will be up late tonight too! :)
