This was a nice relaxing weekend with just the 3 of us. On Saturday, we headed to the park to throw the football (every kind of ball is a football to Sawyer).
We also ran errands and watched Sawyer dance to dad's music in the back of the jeep. And, we ate peanut butter sandwhiches!
On Sunday, Dad went to golf and we thought it would be fun to meet him. Sawyer would throw his golf ball and yell "touchdown!" We lasted 2 holes, but here is how Sawyer would explain it....
Me: What did we do today Sawyer?
S: Play football with dad (golf)...
Drive car...
Get out...play football (golfball).
Me: Did you have fun?
S: yea!
Another story Sawyer told me today.
S: boo boo Momma, pointing to his knee
Me: What happened?
S: I fell.
Me: Where?
S: on grass...Daddy me racing.
This in fact happened, and Hunter had told me earlier that Sawyer took a big fall, but luckily landed on the grass. I told Hunter he is in trouble, because now Sawyer can report things to me that happen while I am away! :) love it!
Lastly, we listened to Sawyer sing all weekend. Usually it was from his crib when he was supposed to be sleeping, like 5:45 a.m. and after 30 minutes into his nap. Dang cough has been keeping him up!
Tate was saying "hi" to the video of Sawyer. Cole kept telling him, "it is not 'real' Sawyer. It is just a video." Tate keeps saying "hi." :)
