Fathers, Family, and the Fourth

Since my last post, we celebrated a few things.
First...Father's Day. Despite how busy Hunter has been in school and working full time, he is such a great Daddy and the boys love any time they can get with him!

The boys woke Daddy up with handmade gifts.

My dad's name is Daddy (duh).
He is 101 years old. (really that is 10. he said he accidentally put the one after too.)
He is as big as a walrus. (ha!)
He has brown eyes and brown hair (close).
He likes to buy Cole lego sets.
I love my dad because he takes me to the toy store. (buying his love!)
Guess where the man of the day picked to eat for lunch, Luby's! Ha! Score.
The boys were rotten, so I took them to the lobby and entertained them with rolls!

We celebrated cousin Amy's bday a couple weeks ago, which means I got to hug my gorgeous Grandmother!
Someone please help me with this child's hair!

And then there was the 4th. ALWAYS a great holiday. We started with a parade at school!
Tyler LOVED it!
Despite really needing a pair of sunglasses.
Then we road tripped it to Jacksonville.  We call this the 3 hours where the boys get whatever they want to keep the peace! Sawyer got a giant lollipop and said that he would share it with Tate.
Tyler on the other hand will NOT share his sucker-baby bottle with anyone.
We missed spending the whole weekend with the cousins, but at least got in a night with them. They were so nice to share their pool, popsicles, toys, and beds while they were gone. We were able to get this perfect shot before they left!

How precious are our 4 year olds?!?
Thanks to this sweet sis in law for letting me be woman of the house for the weekend!
Clearly the boys had no problem manning the pool.

Sawyer actually swam the length of the pool after learning that Tate can do that! But, "to protect Tyler" he needed to wear his floaties some.

Like a boss

The boys put on a fireworks show with minimal damage.
Sawyer even got a quick ride on a jet ski. I don't know who was more excited!?!

Tyler "helped" me make a cake for Johnny's bday!
We were so happy to get to spend it with him!!

And the number one reason I need a pool, is b/c this is what it does to my boys! Crashed out!
