Easter Fun

For some pre-Easter fun, Tyler Bear went to the OR for a new ear tube. After screaming and kicking for 45 minutes when waking from the anesthesia and then vomiting all over me (all before 8 a.m.), he felt brand new!

Sawyer and I dyed some eggs the day before Easter to get ready for the Easter Bunny. I forgot to snap a pic, but they were really radiant.  We used brown eggs (not on purpose) and the colors were awesome. He drew everyone's name on the eggs. 

The boys woke up early Sunday for their Easter egg hunt and enjoyed the goodies left in their buckets beforehand. Sawyer collected 22 eggs and Tyler 1. It's not that Tyler isn't fast or skilled, he's just a sugar fanatic!

The biggest hit with these two were the giant lollipops.  Tyler's sugar melt down also a hit! 

After church and lunch, Carrie and Pete stopped by. The boys shared their everlasting lollipops!

 

We were so happy GiGi got to be with us this Easter!

The new balls from the Bunny were of course a hit as well. 

We also tried to get a family photo. Sawyer was very worried about the safety of this pose, and was especially worried about Tyler falling.

Love this one, b/c it's so classic Leever boys! wild and crazy! 

  Sawyer's tie and tucked in shirt lasted the whole 2 minute ride to church! Tyler's pants made it to church but didn't last a minute once we got home! Note: everlasting lollipops still going!

Sure do love my little nuggets! Easter might be my new favorite holiday...It's just such a happy blessed day! 

And one of the best blessings was Hunter letting me sneak in a nap and this non-napping boy crashing out on the couch for 2 hours!
