Last night, Sawyer had his very first Christmas program. So, I was able to get this gem of a picture with my non-posing 4 year old! All I ever wanted for Christmas!
I even stole a kiss! Bonus!
Love my boys so much!
This pic sums up how we all feel by the time it's Thursday night! Tyler is saying, "Mom I am exhausted" and Sawyer is saying, "I am done posing" and I am saying, "SMILE!"
Carrie and Pete were able to make his show!
Here he is singing the practice songs very loudly walking into the school.
He knew this songs backward and forward, and sang them to me numerous times a night over the past couple of weeks. However, on the big night, a little stage fright struck him. I blame myself, actually. What Mom thinks it would be best to sit in the front row?!? Of course that is going to make him get the jitters. We ALL know Sawyer-Boy does not have a shy bone in his body!
Oh well, he sang the first two songs well.
Singing Jingle Bells
You can see him start to get a little shy here.
Let me add, the attire was "nice red shirt." To me that means not a t-shirt and not a uniform shirt, but he was the outlier in his plaid shirt and Sperrys!
And a few videos. He did well during S-A-N-T-A!
And here is his speaking part, where he lists what he wants for Christmas!
Then, Rudolph (his favorite!!) he dwindled. I showed him this one later and he said, "Yea, me legs got tired of standing!"
It was still such a cute little show, and you could tell that the teachers worked really had on it!
So cute! Will be so neat to have the videos years from now!
