Tyler bear is 8 months old and boy does he want to GO!
Don't be fooled by how still he is in this picture, overnight he wants to get movin'!
At 8 months, Tyler:
- weighs about 19 lbs
- wears 12 month clothes (big boy)
- is almost in size 4 diaper (only still in 3 b/c we are finishing the box)
- still usually sleeps through the night, but has some nights where he wakes
- takes 2 naps
- has 4 bottles/breast feeds
- eats all pureed foods, but really wants the big kid foods
- added yogurt to his diet
- loves to feed himself - prefers it over spoon feeding
- only has half of a tooth
- likes water out of his sippy cup
- goes from sitting to the crawl position
- rocks back and forth on his knees
- does the plank
- scoots backwards
- doesn't want to be laying on his back, so rolls to get moving
- Says "Momma" and knows what that mean
- Babbles "Dadda", "Babba"
- blows raspberries constantly b/c it feels good on his gums
- needs something in his mouth at all times, like the corner of his glider below
- hair has grown so much - we actually had to clip it above his ears
- still unsure of his eye color
- smiles if you even glance his way
- responds to his name
- is very ticklish
- is getting more Mommy clingy
- reaches out for me when he wants to be held
- had his first double ear infection and fought it like a champ!
This little boy is still so content, happy, giggly, friendly, and warm-hearted. He is such a joy to our lives and we cannot get enough snuggles and kisses from him.
Sawyer is his biggest fan and I think the feeling is mutual!
They like to play together and "share" toys.
Tyler is the BEST sport :)
8 months has flown by and we love watching sweet Tyler grow, but I wish he would go just a little slower so I could treasure his littleness more!
Sawyer and Tyler comparison
S&T have the same feet and hands but that is IT! :) So precious - love them both.
