Wow, the week after vacation really makes you appreciate vacation and makes you crave more. This post is late b/c work has been busy busy! I have quite a few pics from the beach, so this post might just be an array of photos. I actually don't have any from the beach beach, b/c neither of us wanted to take our nice cameras, but I still captured a lot of cuteness!

We had our own fireworks show, as there were young (crazy) neighbors blasting them all night.

Pete and Carrie joined us for a couple of days.
And the sweet Magris came from El Paso! I am kicking myself for not getting more pics with Nati and John. I don't know that we could have handled 5 days at the beach without the help of the Magris and the Bakunases. However, they both agreed they could wait a few more years to have kids after spending time with our boys! Free birth control at its best!
A great friend from law school, James, just moved down to Galveston and and he joined us for a night.

My sweet, snuggly nephew was so cool on this trip. Way to cool for hugs from Aunt Kayla, but just cool enough to be JH's sidekick. I think I got asked to move after this pic!

So, one night the young next door neighbors came by to see if they could hang with us on our deck for a bit. We were all kind of quiet, except JH who was like "of, course, come on." So after about 20 minutes, one of them says, " Wow, I hope I am as cool as ya'll when I am your age." Ouch!!
Love my SIL so much!
