2 years today!

Our little baby  big boy is 2 today! Two years ago today, I was trying to teach my little baby how to eat, watching him sleep peacefully, and wishing his dad was around to hold him.  Two years later, I am watching him crawl out of his crib (literally), seeing him stuff his face with cake, and hearing him say, "Daddy hold you!"  We could not be a happier family of 3, and our little energizer bunny/monkey/cheetah seems to love life as well!

 

 One year ago.

 

- At 2, Sawyer weighs 26 lb and 8 oz (32%)-finally getting some chunk- and he is 35 inches tall (69%). 

- He wears 2T/3T tops and 24 mo/2T bottoms. He wears a size 6.5 shoe, and already seems to be growing out of those, a month in them.

- He sleeps in his crib, although after the acrobat stunt yesterday, that might not last much longer.

- His favorite foods are corn, strawberries, sausage, spaghetti, cinnamon toast, donuts, and cheez-its.

- He loves all things with wheels and can make the perfect noises to match them.

- He likes animals, music, and all books.

-He wants to be outside, rain or shine.

-He sings ALL the time. I mean ALL the time. Made up songs and real songs.

- He likes his friends at school, and really anyone that will talk to him -social butterfly!

- He always has a smile on his face, as he always has.

- I cannot count his words at this stage, and he uses sentences many times a day. I love hearing him tell me stories, tell the dogs what to do, and pretend talk on the phone. 

-While he is very energetic and never ever runs out of energy, he will occasionaly pause for a quick book or hug, which always melt my heart!

 We love our little man so much! Happy 2nd Birthday sweet Sawyer.
