100 and 14

For my 100th blog post, we will be celebrating Sawyer's 14 months of life!  I didn't make him hold a 14 month sign and take a picture, but I would like to memorialize it.
You can tell in the below pics that he has lost quite a bit of weight. He was 19 lb and 9 oz last week when we were in and out of the doc's office (this is the same he weighed 2 months ago.) But, don't worry, with this 1000 calorie diet, he will be back to a normal weight in no time.  Meanwhile, he is on a no dairy, no soy, no egg diet for a couple of weeks to see what's going on.
Sawyer is walking, sometimes running 100% of the time.  He has taught himself how to cross over the dog gate without getting on his knees and crawling.  He runs from Dad when he chases him.  He slides down the stairs....scary!
- He is talking NON stop.  He mostly speaks alien, but with a purpose! The actual words he says are:
light (igh), dog (da), ball (ba), go (which means go and fan - this is b/c Mimi showed taught him that when he says go she makes the fan go), stop (op), Mama, Dada, deer (not here, but in the hill country), and bye. Even though he cannot say a lot, he understands so so much.
- If you say no, he shakes his head no.  He claps, waives good-bye and hello, and screams A LOT.  Screaming means many things...NOW, OUT, UP, frustration, excitement, and "Hello, pay attention to me."  He enjoys closing doors, the microwave, the cabinets and fridge.  He insists on turning the light on and off everytime we leave the room! :)
- He is not a big snuggler.  You can get 5 minutes of lovin' after he first wakes up and right before bed, otherwise he prefers to be GOING.
- He is working on dropping that second nap, which makes me sad and makes the evenings a little fussy!
- Let's not talk about how he's sleeping at the moment! :(
- Mainly, at 14 months, he is an extremely happy boy FULL of energy, and we are so thankful that he is learning and growing so well!
